What is rake and why do I pay it?
Every time you play a hand of poker the house is taking a fee from that hand. This fee is called rake and it is usually 5% but never higher than $3 no matter the size of the pot. This fee is what the poker rooms make their money on but with rakeback you will get a percentage of that fee back.
What is rakeback?
Rakeback is the percentage that you get back from your total rake at a poker room. If you for example generate $2000 in rake during a month and your rakeback percentage is 33% you will get $666 back to your account at the end of that month. Rakeback could mean a lot to a player that is breaking even at the moment but with rakeback he/she would be a making a lot of money.
Why sign up for a rakeback account?
The main reason that you should sign up for a rakeback account is that you will get money back every month that usually would go straight in the pockets of the poker room. When you are playing with rakeback it is much easier to become a winning player since it is enough for you to be a break even player to make a healthy profit.
How much money can I make from playing with rakeback?
There is no limit to the amount of rakeback you can receive during a month. If you generate $1000 in rake during amonth you will get $333 rakeback at the end of the month and I you generate $10 000 in rake you will receive $3333. There are endless possibilities to earn money when playing with rakeback.
When do I get my rakeback paid out?
When you sign up for a rakeback account at Red Star Poker through us your rakeback will be paid out to your account latest the 5th of every month. The payments are made by Red Star Poker and will go straight to your real money account there.
Where can I see how much rakeback I have earned during a month?
You can follow the amount of rakeback you will receive in your account at Red Star Poker. All you need to do is to click “My Account” and then the “VIP Status” button in the poker client and then you will see exactly how much rake you have paid and how much you will be getting back.
